The idea is simple
More poets.
Equal time.
A shared stage.
There are more stories waiting to be heard than a handful of opening slots can hold. The Marathon makes room for them: a poetry-first gathering with the openness of an open mic and a programme planned ahead.
Poets, up to.Different perspectives. A broader stage.
For every poet.Equal performance time. Make it yours.
Music & more between the verses.Other creative performances keep the programme moving.

This is the early-registration location, not the Marathon venue. Live Show tickets are for the 25 October event; they do not guarantee a Marathon performance slot.
When and where is the Marathon?
The Marathon’s date and venue will be announced. The 25 October date below is for early registration at Orange Poetry Live Show, not the Marathon itself.
Is it only for poets?
Poetry is at the heart of the programme, with music and other art forms woven between the poetry sets. If you work in another creative discipline, speak with the team about your interest at early registration.
Does early registration guarantee a slot?
No. Early registration lets us know you would like to take part. Performance allocation and participation details will be shared separately; registering does not confirm a place on the programme.
Can I register online?
Online registration is not open at this stage. Early registration will take place in person at Orange Poetry Live Show on 25 October 2026. If you cannot attend, contact the team for enquiries about future registration opportunities.
